Job Summary

RESPONSIBILITIES
 
1. Responsible for group and private lesson instruction.
2. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records on all students and classes that are assigned. 
3. Organize social and competitive tennis events for juniors.
4. Performs specialized projects as deemed necessary by Tennis Manager.
5. Maintaining impeccable personal appearance and teaching standards.
6. Assists members by answering all questions courteously and in a timely fashion.
7. Able to instruct students ages 3 years and up.
8. Immediately notify supervisor of problems or potential problems as they arise. 
9. Promote, develop and “grow the game” in the surrounding area.
10. Maintain accurate attendance and class sign-up books and registration forms.
15. Maintain a neat and professional personal appearance, by wearing the MVP Sports Clubs uniform (see uniform matrix) and name badge.
16. Other duties as assigned.
 
 
REQUIREMENTS
 
1.     Ability to play and teach tennis requiring standing, running, directional movements, swinging of racquet and holding of multiple tennis balls for at least 8 hours straight per day.
2. Previous involvement with USTA or local/state tennis organizations preferred.
3. CPR and first aid certification in infants, children and adults.
4. Minimum of 2 years teaching experience.
5. College playing experience preferred.
6. Cardio Tennis experience preferred.
7. 10 & under specialist experience preferred.
8. Customer Service Skills required.
9. Excellent organizational skills.
10. Ability to manage multiple tasks.
11. Must be able to work extra hours, weekends, and holidays if needed.
12. Proven track record of accountability and integrity.
13. Familiar with various teaching tools needed to carry out principle responsibilities.
14. Physical Requirements:  Bend, stoop, crouch, climb, stand, sit and turn/pivot; Lift/lower, push, pull and carry up to 40 lbs; perform office tasks using simple hand grasping, fine  hand manipulation and reach associated with assigned tasks such as paperwork, typing, and/or word processing, filing, calculating and use of telephone; See, hear, and speak with sufficient capability to perform assigned tasks and maintain proper job safety conditions.
