Job Summary

Description Primary Purpose 

The Analyst, Consumer Research and Insights is responsible for supporting the Brand department in building the Indians brand and driving profitable growth through a deeper understanding of our fans, improved analytical capabilities, and exceptional cross-functional collaboration.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
CONSUMER RESEARCH AND INSIGHTS 
• Support Brand department in identifying, prioritizing, and executing fan- and market-research opportunities 
• Lead the design, execution, and analysis of high-priority quantitative research for the entire organization, including but not limited to feedback surveys, concept testing longitudinal studies, etc
• Partner with Strategy Department, Brand Director, and others as relevant to design, execute, and analyze advanced consumer research projects (such as segmentation, customer journey mapping, etc), summarizing insights and recommendations for relevant stakeholders
• Design and coordinate the execution of in-depth qualitative research (such as focus groups, ethnographies, and interviews), summarizing findings and recommendations for relevant stakeholders

ANALYTICS 
• Assess the impact of key marketing programs, ticketing offers, etc., summarizing key insights and communicating relevant learnings and recommendations to stakeholders across the organization
• Serve as department expert in Tableau, SQL, and other relevant technologies for conducting day-to-day analytics related to brand-building, marketing, and fan engagement
• Support Director, Brand in identifying opportunities to improve data collection, management, and analytics and in assessing potential solutions




BRAND BUILDING 
• Leverage market research insights to further develop activation programs and offers targeted at priority fan segments
• Support Director, Service Excellence in all matters related to metrics and measurement of Service Excellence, including defining and measuring internal and external success metrics, determining the long-term value of our customer service efforts, and helping bring the voice of the fan to weekly Service Excellence working team.
• Help lend the voice of the customer to strategic decision making conducted by cross-functional committees/teams.

Education & Experience Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, marketing, economics or related major preferred
• 2-3 years’ experience as market research analyst/associate in Sports, Consulting, Traditional CPG, or other consumer-centric industry
• Demonstrated ability to critically assess financial and strategic impact of programs and activities
• Proficiency with SurveyGizmo, Qualtrics, or other research software strongly preferred 
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel or other Microsoft Office products is required
• Background working with SQL (or other similar database management software) or with data visualization programs is preferred but not required
