Nike's Global Consumer Knowledge Center of Excellence is a growing organization responsible for building and deepening a holistic view of Nike's consumers through data and analytics, and applying those insights to inform the development of incredible digital services, content and experiences for our consumers. 

We are looking for an innovative and experienced expert in the strategy, translation and application of consumer & content analytics to join our Center of Excellence and the Decision Science team. You'll be tasked with identifying opportunities to use consumer knowledge and marketing science to influence decision-making and to translate analytics and insights into action for our Nike Marketing business units. 

The right candidate will have a history of developing creative and effective ways of applying, integrating and sharing consumer knowledge, and the vision and leadership skills to partner with key business stakeholders to translate these insights into action.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Champion advanced analytics for targeted communications (email, triggers, app content, push notifications) including a full digital ecosystem view of business and consumer impact.
  • Spearhead deep A/B content testing and creative analytics discipline across diverse stakeholder groups 
  • Work with key partners to deeply understand their business strategies and priorities, actively identifying opportunities where research and analytics can most deeply impact consumer experiences and fuel internal decision-making. 
  • Partner with varied marketing functions to holistically apply consumer and content insights 
  • Cultivate scalable and data-driven audience selection, targeting and segmentation strategies in partnership with key stakeholders 
  • Translate and demystify complex methodologies & findings into curated, relevant, and actionable deliverables
  • Amplify impact of key analytics deliverables by agilely identifying opportunities for broader application & business impact

 

Qualifications
Education:
  • Background in a related field such as statistics, econometrics, applied math, or behavioral sciences research
  • Advanced degree in a quantitative or research field a plus

Experience:
  • 6-7+ years' experience in an applied analytics or quantitative digital research setting
  • A background in the production of content analytics, testing, or customer research in ecommerce, retail, or digital products for targeted communications and consumer journeys. 
  • Deep experience in applied analytics or customer research in the context of targeted communications, or other CRM function within a global business

Required Skills:
  • A history of excellence and innovation in synthesizing complex findings, data visualization, storytelling, client presentations and partnerships
  • A good understanding of applied statistics including sampling approaches, causal modeling, time series analysis, and data mining techniques
  • Ability to guide a portfolio of large research projects with multiple business stakeholders in a fast-moving setting with ambiguous requirements
  • Deep experience managing multiple business priorities and executive stakeholders in a matrixed, fluid and rapidly growing organizational setting.
