Job Summary
| Description | This individual will present Cleveland Indians entertainment by bringing events to life through interviews, skits, features, and contests in the ballpark. Main function during game is to host pre-produced and live features in a fun and entertaining manner. RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES: Pre-game through post-game responsibilities may include but not limited to: • Showcase of activities • Conduct interviews with fans • Narrate contests and mascot features to fans in the ballpark • Showcase an animated and creative personality at points • Narrating highlights with in-depth baseball knowledge • Additional duties assigned by Supervisor |
| Requirements | • Must have in-depth knowledge of baseball • Ability to interact with fans and provide an entertainment value • Have proper microphone usage • Ability to wrap up a segment quickly • Ability to conduct interviews and/or speak in front of a crowd • Ability to move throughout all areas and levels of the ballpark • Ability to read, speak and comprehend English effectively • Ability to work in a diverse and continually changing environment • Ability to work with multicultural populations and have a commitment to fairness and equality. • Represents the Indians in a positive fashion to all business partners and the general public • Ability to develop and maintain successful working relationship with members of the Front Office • Ability to act according to the organizational values at all times • Ability to work extended days and hours, including evenings and weekends, based on schedule needs • Ability to sit or stand for an entire shift |
