Job Summary

Description

As a Senior Product Analyst, you will help refine business requirements and features into stories with acceptance criteria and technical requirements. You will also participate in the design and development of the solution, including configuration of systems. You will also interface with business users and testers in support of the product development and production support as well as create test cases to ensure the functionality properly tested and the engineer understands the test scenarios. You will also triage support tickets for priority.

You will collaborate with Solution Architects, Business Consultants and Business Partners to support Human Resource tools and processes as well as deliver a portfolio of Human Resource projects. These tools, processes and projects are designed to enable a premium employment experience for all Nike employees and managers worldwide.

You’ll be responsible for assisting with new functionality across multiple Geographies and innovative enhancements to our existing solutions. You will be instrumental in driving requirements definition, solution options, and lead stakeholder discussions utilizing compelling story telling. You will play a key role in the functional design and development of new solutions and enhancements. You will collaborate with Engineers, Business partners and third party vendors.You will coordinate and communicate functional requirements and technical solutions with IT capability resources by designing and documenting functional specs using standards.

Additionally, you will participate in the development of project plans and timelines as well as provide input to project management. You will communicate project status to management, participate in change management processes, assist with and support Testing and QA processes.  Finally, you will be part of Cutover and Stabilization activities.


Qualifications
  • Agile & SAFe experience
  • SAP ECC 6.0 and EPH 8 experience preferable
  • Success Factors experience (Performance & Goals, Succession, Onboarding, Compensation, Employee Central)
  • Success Factors API experience a plus
  • Experience breaking down Features into Stories
  • Extensive experience gathering requirements, understanding functional specification, gaining user approvals, project implementation, and production support
  • Identify, analyze, define, and document detailed requirements to support project and business objectives
  • Extensive experience writing configuration, technical, and functional requirements with end-users in a demanding environment with short timelines
  • Experience with HR master data
  • Experience with integration complexities
  • Strong working knowledge of core HR business processes SAP HR master data
  • Self-starter with leadership qualities who can work independently and in teams on tasks and projects with limited supervision
  • Proactive, self starter with ability to influence team members as well as technical and business partners
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or other relevant subject area
  • 8-10 years' professional experience in IT or business
  • 2 years' additional relevant professional experience accepted in lieu of a degree

  • Perform data and process analysis to understand key source systems and using knowledge of application features and functions to assess scope and impact of business needs
  • Conduct workflow, process diagrams and gap analysis
  • Evaluates existing and new application products that could address client requirements
  • Identify and document workflow, information resources, and system specifications
  • Participate in the analysis and definition of efficient, cost effective solutions that support business processes and functional requirements
  • Exceptional collaboration, listening, written and verbal communication skills
  • Performing data analysis, data mining, and source to target mapping
  • Explaining difficult issues and drive consensus
  • Work with multiple geographies and/or departments to gather and document tactical requirements from the business
  • Commitment to collaborate with technical partners and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between standard delivered functionality, usability, and performance needs
  • Strong business acumen to quickly learn new business processes and understand how Technology needs to support the business in achieving revenue and profit goals
  • Ability to conduct problem solving and decision making - demonstrating a logical and thoughtful approach
  • Ability to create and articulate plans, individually and within a team, to resolve problems and mitigate risk
  • Ability to work with onshore/offshore teams, and communicate using virtual communication tools (phone, conferencing, online meeting)
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity
  • Possess a positive attitude and strong work-ethic
  • Experience with Lean principles and methods is a plus
  • Informatica experience a plus
  • Batch experience a plus
  • ABAP experience a plus
  • Experience with Technology architecture and infrastructure projects is a plus
  • Experience working with geographies outside the United States is a plus
  • Ability to pass a 7-year background investigation
