Job Summary

The Role: Software Quality Engineer

The Software Quality Engineer is a part of the game quality pipeline process by creating efficiency and automation tools and reporting. This particular role has a focus on improving the user interface/experience for our web UI support tools and data reports, using modern technologies.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working closely with customers (i.e. game quality engineers, game team engineers, technical leadership & QA) to develop user-friendly web UI tools; easy to manage and efficient pipelines; and optimal workflows that aid in the development and iteration of automated testing game content.
  • Evaluate user interface of internal existing testing tools/reports and recommend improvements.
  • Build tools and web interfaces that satisfy the software testing and data reporting requirements of our development partners.
  • Understand technical requirements for tools and drive clean user interface and user experience designs for primary internal customers.
  • Design, maintain, implement, test and debug code.

 

Required Technical Skills and Experience

  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • 4+ years experience in UI, engineering, UX, programming, or related position
  • 4+ years experience with client/server web development (JavaScript, jQuery, HTML 5, CSS)
  • 3+ years experience with C++, C#
  • Familiar with multiple database platforms, application servers, and development environments
  • Knowledgeable with Web / IT infrastructure support and administration

 

Additional Skills:

  • Knowledge of game development
