POSITION SUMMARY

 

The North Face is on a journey to massively upgrade our digital footprint.  As we recruit a new generation of consumers, we need to embrace a “digital-first” mindset and we are looking for a strong leader with a clear creative vision and strong collaboration skills to lead this initiative.  This role is responsible for developing and executing the creative vision for the brand across key digital touchpoints including our website, outbound emails, apps and partner initiatives.  This individual will need to partner closely with our eCom team to structure our digital ecosystem to drive maximum brand value, consumer engagement and revenue.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage a team of 7 designers, developers and copywriters to translate brand strategy into breakthrough creative across our digital ecosystem.
  • Solidify and deploy a strategy for our eCom and email experiences that maximizes brand storytelling and revenue.  Partner with the eCom team to drive execution.
  • Drive collaboration through our Brand, eCom, and DTC teams to deliver against key initiatives.
  • Build and implement a process with our internal Creative Studio to ensure that key assets are created and executed for all digital touchpoints. 
  • Ensures exceptional results with on-time and on-budget delivery.
  • Through actions and example, ensure that TNF's vision, values and brand DNA are incorporated into business strategies; act as visible leader in upholding the values of the Company in all business interactions. 
  • Partner with the TNF Product Creative Director to set the seasonal look/feel, and marketing themes that are used at seasonal kick off and throughout the Go To Market Process.

 

 

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

  • 10+ years of experience in Marketing or related field.
  • BA or BS degree required, preferably in Marketing or related field or an equivalent combination of experience and knowledge, skills and abilities.
  • Deep understanding of and experience in a wide-range of creative functions -- photography, video, art & copy, retail store design, retail environments, trade shows, interactive/web design, project management
  • Deep understanding and experience in international retail marketing and merchandising -- in particular Europe and Asia.
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple business units in multiple regions and gain consistency with consumer facing imagery and presentation
  • Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills. 
  • Ability to work well with multiple individuals from a variety of different departments. 
  • Strong leadership skills.
