Job Description
We are looking for a motivated and talented Digital Media Supervisor to join our Media Department. The Digital Media Supervisor is seen as a day-to-day manager and leader to the team. This is a tremendous opportunity to collaborate with all departments in the agency, as the Digital Media Supervisor will be the primary point person cross-account.
In addition to their core account assignments, the Digital Media Supervisor is expected to participate in larger areas of agency development: New Business pitches, internal committees, and task forces. The Digital Media Supervisor role is a step toward more senior leadership within the Media Department and the agency overall.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Ability to assist with strategic media vision and lead tactical media vision cross-channel / tactic
- Very articulate and confident in client-facing situations -- able to think proactively and reactively to bring strategic solutions to clients
- Leader for media planning, buying, and execution processes
- Work closely with Analytics team to monitor performance and recommend optimizations and new / different strategies and tactics
- Lead role in training and managing junior team members in digital media, including assistant media planner and media operations specialist
- Lead role in paid social practice, including strategy, planning, buying, execution, and management cross-social platform
- Supportive role in management of paid search efforts, including strategy, execution, and management
- Contribute – as needed – to planning traditional media, including broadcast TV, terrestrial radio, out of home, and print with ability to think about video and audio distribution holistically and cross-screen
- Act as an agency resource on the latest news and technologies that affect our industry and clients
Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of digital media planning experience, including paid social
- Deep knowledge and understanding of digital media planning and buying, including technical details
- Deep knowledge and understanding of paid social
- Exceptional media skills overall -- strategic thinking, innovative ideas / techniques, stellar negotiating skills, insightful analysis
- Knowledge of traditional media planning (broadcast TV, terrestrial radio, out of home, and print)
- Proficiency in digital media planning and trafficking software, including DoubleClick (or equivalent)
- Advanced user of research and planning tools, including Nielsen, MRI, Simmons, comScore, etc.
- Strong relationships (and reputation) in the media community
- Active in the media community outside of agency (PhIMA, Philly Ad Club, 4A’s, etc.)
- Strong client management skills
- Excellent presentation, verbal and writing skills
- Resourceful problem solver
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience in health and wellness category a plus
