Job Summary

Purpose:

Reebok wants to be the Best Fitness Brand in the World, and as the Manager of Global Media, you will be an in-house paid media expert and advocate to make that vision a reality. You will be responsible for leading the creation of seasonal paid media guidelines for our global markets. This role will also be responsible for helping identify and steer global (x-market) media partnerships. This person helps orchestrate and lead monthly status calls with our Reebok markets during which we cover key topics including seasonal deliverables, media partnerships, media thought leadership, and general tool/process governance. The other facet of this role will be supporting the Global Newsroom team on any Brand or Celebrity Influencer led initiatives. You will be the paid media expert within this core team working alongside an integrated group of marketing professionals including owned social, content, and PR.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Lead the creation of seasonal media guidelines for our global markets; working in partnership with the Business Unit teams and our media agency
  • Work with U.S. Marketing and Media counterparts to share relevant learnings with the cross-market team; our goal being to “lead with the U.S.”
  • Identify and roll out new and/or improved processes for the global media function
  • Manage the adoption and usage of Reebok’s cloud-based media management tool, Lumina, that houses all media plan information globally. Working with both market and agency contacts, you will ensure onboarding, adoption, and usage of this tool so that as a global team we have better visibility into our global media investment and activity
  • Manage and lead monthly market status calls
  • Liaise with Reebok counterparts in key markets around the world; Help establish the global media team as a center of excellence for the markets as it pertains to media knowledge, tools, resources, and guidance
  • Be the paid media expert and liaison to partners within the Reebok Global Newsroom, including public relations, social media and digital / editorial content
  • Build and execute plans around Reebok’s largest brand campaigns, inclusive of high-profile celebrity brand “assets” from the worlds of film, music, television and professional sports
  • Help manage the translation and actionably of our consumer “muses” (audiences) – including partnering with our global media agency and staying informed on evolutions on audience research

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

  • Paid media expert with particular expertise in digital media, and experience with Global brands
  • Proficient in critical media tools including 3rd party ad serving (DCM, Atlas), syndicated research (MRI, Simmons), PMDs (SocialCode, Sprinklr), DSP technology (preferably DBM), Prisma/MediaOcean
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Collaborative and comfortable leading cross-functional meetings and training sessions
  • Deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines; function exceptionally well under pressure
  • Have strong knowledge and passion for the media landscape in and out of our industry, and digital marketing and innovative technologies that are changing consumer behavior
  • Inspirational, compelling personality; Entrepreneurial spirit
  • Tenacity for creating new types of consumer experiences and taking creative risks

Qualifications (Minimum required education and experience):

  1. 5-7 years’ experience in media
  2. Must have paid media experience; agency experience preferable
  3. Experience working in an international company
  4. Fluent in English
  5. Ability to travel internationally, 10%
