Digital Designer

Active Network is seeking a Designer with a desire to learn as part of a team and a great attitude. You will work closely with other designers throughout all stages of creative development. We are looking for creative thinkers with education and experience in graphic design. In this role you will have the opportunity to use your skills to make a real difference in the lives of others.

Responsibilities:

• Working in a fast paced design team
• Design marketing solutions for external brands and organizations, as well as ACTIVE’s corporate brand
• Innovating, conceptualizing, designing and bringing next generation of design projects to life
• Creating visually stunning emails, banners, and digital marketing for events, brands, and corporate initiatives.
• Knowing and sharing best practices within your team, and across ACTIVE
• Collaboration with the email media, marketing team, ad operations, and account managers

Requirements:

• Strong visual design aesthetics (typography, composition, color, layout) 
• BA/BS/MFA degree in Graphic Design, Communication Design, Interface Design or equivalent experience 
• Adobe Creative Suite expertise required (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Portfolio of design work required 
• Knowledge of and an interest in keeping on top of industry trend and pushing for continuous improvement
• Ability to deliver quality work on tight deadlines, and manage a queue of requests
• Receptive to design and performance feedback
• Excellent communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills
• Working knowledge of HTML and CSS a plus
• Ability to present your work, and communicate with an extended team
• Ability to manage feedback from various stakeholders
