Job Summary

Job Summary: This is an exciting opportunity for an individual interested in a career in events or operations. The intern will observe, learn and develop skills necessary to explore career opportunities within the chosen field.  

Job Responsibilities: 

• Learning the basic fundamentals of game operations while giving hands on experience and how it pertains to the Bowl game
• Understanding game operations and applying learned fundamentals at other events
• Gaining knowledge with the overall coordination and communication associated with the Frequency Coordination program including travel, accommodations and vendor delegations 
• Training in the development and management of expenses and budgets
• Participating in serving as a secondary liaison 
• Exposure to the coordination of escort transportation for teams with courtesy cars, limousines and busses
• Acquiring knowledge associated with determining the needs, development and assessment of communications, equipment and product distribution, product signage and event logistics staff, security and traffic assignment levels, traffic and transportation plans and police escorts for departments and special events

Qualifications: 

• Pursuing a degree and/or career in Sports Management
• Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Photoshop, Publisher and typing skills
