Job Summary

POSITION SUMMARY

• The Group Sales Department is seeking qualified candidates to fill the position of Group Sales Intern.
• A strong work ethic, ability to work effectively with others, and problem solving are a few of the key characteristics required. Attendance at all  regular season and playoff (if applicable) home matches and any other Arena events is strongly encouraged.

THIS IS AN UNPAID INTERNSHIP AND IS FOR COLLEGE CREDIT ONLY. PROOF OF COLLEGE CREDIT IS REQUIRED TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THE PROGRAM.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

• Learn how to generate qualified group sales leads through research 
• Learn how to access and use Microsoft Kore CRM system
• Learn how to analyze and research market trends pertaining to group packages
• Learn how a sales department operates and how to effectively sell a group package

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY

• This Internship requires a passion for sports, good communication skills, and a willingness to learn
• You will receive sales training, and will use what you’ve learned to create a business plan centered around group sales
• A positive attitude and ability to think on your feet are necessary!
