Job Summary

POSITION SUMMARYT

his is an unpaid, for credit internship (proof that you will receive credit is required). The Field Marketing Internship is designed to provide experience to students pursuing a career in Field Marketing and event planning within a sports organization.

 LEARNING OBJECTIVES

• Learn how to plan and execute match days fan zone, as well as off-site events
• Collaborate with relevant departments on joint event planning
• Develop and assist with marketing campaigns
• Maintain updated and accurate records of inventory, including equipment and promotional items

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY

• This internship is ideally suited for someone with a strong interest in event planning, sports marketing. While a strong interest in soccer and sports is not required, it is most definitely a plus!
• Must be able to multi-task and follow timelines.
• Experience working with Excel and PowerPoint 
• Possess a strong work ethic, take a leadership approach, and is a self-starter.
• Experienced in high stress, fast-paced environments.
• Able to lift 30lbs, without strain.
• Comfortable being active for extended periods of time.
