Job Summary

POSITION SUMMARY

Great opportunity to learn alongside the Business & Ops team in this unpaid, for credit internship (proof that you will receive credit is required).  You’ll be exposed to all aspects of the business behind a sports team and how it relates to the fan experience.  Understanding ticketing & sponsorship trends in both major & minor league sports. 

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

• Learn to understand the aspects of a full game day set up and how it effects the fan experience.
• Develop an understanding of ticketing & partnership trends and apply findings to help create new sales & sponsorship opportunities for
• Track and analyze data related to ticket sales and partnerships in order to draw suggestions on future planning
• Monitor activations of ticketing & partnership activations to understand impact of product on both fans & partners

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY

• This internship is ideal for someone who is looking to understand the business of sports and has a willingness to understand how to find new ways to drive revenue as well as impact the experience of the fans. While a strong interest in soccer and sports isn’t required, it’s most definitely a plus!
• Due to the cyclical nature of the entertainment industry, your assigned hours may vary to reflect the business needs of the company and will include hours during game days.
