Corporate Communications Intern

Job Summary

• Coordinate with team members and various businesses/departments to assist with content creation, copy editing, and delivery of employee communications including weekly enterprise-wide e-newsletter, human resources programs and initiatives, and internal promotions on an as-needed basis


• Assist with management of employee intranet and company website, including content/graphic creation, copy editing and webpage layout design; will serve as the point person for intranet questions and inquiries and responsible for ensuring information is fresh and relevant


• Produce and help oversee daily media clips package for company-wide distribution 


• Assist in the planning, production, design and delivery of internal and external media materials, including infographics, posters, videos, social media assets, etc. 


• Assist in development of media materials, communication plans and key messaging tactics for major projects 


• Assist in implementation of social media messaging and content for the organization’s social accounts


• Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned

• Currently enrolled and pursuing a Bachelor’s degree from a United States-based college or university or recently graduated students
• Major: Communications, Public Relations, Advertising, Journalism, Marketing, English, Business Administration preferred
• Minimum 3.2 GPA

• Proactive and enthusiastic; willingness to learn; “can-do” attitude 


• Excellent communicator (both written and verbal) with strong interpersonal skills


• Analytical with outstanding attention to detail, excellent organizational skills; ability to effectively prioritize/manage workload


• Self-starter and fast learner; ability to work collaboratively within a busy team; work autonomously to deadlines and take initiative in a fast-paced environment 


• High level of creativity and design skills; basic understanding of Adobe Creative Suite would be beneficial


• Understanding of and active interest in digital media and social media landscape


• Ability to work with confidential materials discreetly and responsibly


• Strong office admin and IT skills; confident user in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

• Video shooting, production, and editing background


• Graphic design experience 


• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
