Marketing Partnerships & Premium Services Intern

Job Summary

• Learn the ins and outs of service efforts for both marketing partners and premium services


• Learn how to plan and execute anon-site activation of sponsor and partner programs on match days and events as needed (client entertainment, on-field operations, etc.)


• Develop an understanding of how to manage client relationships by working with Account Managers, internal departments (sales, ad ops, content, video production, legal, design, development, and league operations) and when necessary directly with clients and agencies, to ensure successful implementation of programs


• Learn how to use different programs such as Publishers and ShoFlo to track sponsor activation details including website banner ads placement, activation photos, emails blasts, LED signage, social media posts, etc.


• Learn to create event recaps and case studies for clients detailing the progress and success of their partnership program elements


• Gain an understanding of how to generate and implement new activation ideas for prospective partners

• Strong leadership and organizational skills


• Excellent writing, telephone and inter-personal skills


• Must be detailed oriented, self-motivated, and enthusiastic


• Must be proficient with the following computer programs:  Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Adobe


• Interest in some combination of marketing, sales, sponsorship, corporate hospitality, media, sports industry, events, etc.


• Strong interpersonal and communication skills


• Ability to prioritize and multi-task
