Accounting Coordinator

Job Summary

• Execute weekly disbursements cycle using various payment methods (ACH/EFT, credit card, and checks)


• Build and maintain relationships with various vendors and stakeholders


• Maintain source documentation in document management system (Laserfiche)


• Calculate sales and use tax for invoices that require that treatment


• Obtain W-9’s / Prepare annual 1099’s


• Record monthly accruals

• Assist with audit requests as needed

• Distribute weekly outstanding checklist


• Review & distribution of incoming mail


• Other duties as assigned

• 2-3 years experience with accounts payable or general accounting

• Strong time management and organizational skills


• Knowledge of basic accounting principles


• Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with clients, internal customers, sponsors and government agencies


• Work as a team player
