During Blue Jackets home games, the Ice Crew keeps the ice in prime condition during breaks in play, intermissions, and prior to overtime.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Snow removal and other ice maintenance tasks prior to and throughout the game
Meet and greet fans as they enter Nationwide Arena, interact with fans following warm-ups and help execute on-ice contests.
Make appearances in the community on a volunteer basis.
Must be available for at least 50% of home games, both weekday and weekend dates.

Education and/or Experience
Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must be able to skate well enough to perform ice cleaning duties in a timely manner.
Must be 18 years or older by September 1, 2017.

The employee is occasionally required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and depth perception.
