ABOUT US
The Chicago Red Stars, a part of the National Women’s Soccer League, represent the pinnacle of women’s professional soccer in Chicago, the 3rd largest market in the United States.  The Red Stars have reached the playoffs of the NWSL (the top pro women’s soccer league in the world) for 5 consecutive years and have been building a strong base of loyal supporters and season ticket holders throughout their 10 year existence.  Playing at SeatGeek Stadium, a soccer-specific stadium, fans enjoy a professional atmosphere with players competing on a natural grass surface rivaled by few US stadiums.

 
JOB DESCRIPTION 

  • Market and sell tickets for an NWSL (top league) pro women's soccer club

  • Sales inventory includes but is not limited to, season tickets, ticket packages, suites, group/picnic packages sold to both corporations and the general public.

  • Aggressive sales process with existing accounts and a heavy focus on generating new accounts

  • Includes servicing of accounts and other game responsibilities

  • Includes attending events in the community (e.g. tournaments)

 

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS –Successful candidate will have a superior customer service mind-set possessing the character and experience to support our goal to “Be friendly and Be helpful”.

IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Director of Ticket Sales
TIME FRAME: 
THIS IS A FULL TIME STAFF POSITION
Start Date:   To Be Determined
Hours:          9:30 am -5:30pm. Monday-Friday
Game days: 9 a.m. - End of Game. 
Times are subject to change (general manager’s discretion).
This can be entry-level or experienced sales position

Other: Continually provide exceptional guest, partner and client experiences. You will be expected to contribute to staff projects, assist with ticket sales, ticket operations, stadium operations, community relations, including mascot & player appearances, media relations, pocket schedule deliveries, answering phones and help in other areas as needed. The above is an outline of your job responsibilities. Your responsibilities could increase or decrease at any time.

Compensation: Base pay is based on experience; plus commission on all sales
