Job Summary: 
The Manager, Premium Seating & Suite Sales is a full menu sales position responsible for driving all types premium seating revenue for the Los Angeles Chargers including annual suite leases, single game suites, club seats, season memberships, and group events.


 
Key Responsibilities: 

  • Meet or exceed established yearly revenue and ticket goals set for new business (annual suite leases, single game suite rentals, club and general season memberships, group events, and other revenue generating opportunities).

  • Prospect and cultivate new sales leads through creative lead generation methods, as well as follow up on leads provided by the Chargers.

  • Conduct sales conversations via phone presentations, in-office meetings/sales center presentations, out of office meetings, networking events, sales events, and meetings at SoFi Stadium.

  • Entertain and nurture relationships with clients and prospects through creative means including but not limited to: networking events, speaking engagements, one-on-one dinners/lunches, prospect sampling at games, seat visits at games, open houses at stadium, and outside meetings.

  • Perform accurate and skilled deal closings.

  • Submit timely reports to management, including weekly revenue and pipeline reports.

  • Enter all pertinent prospect and customer information in CRM platform for efficient reporting and historical data purposes.

  • Prospect, present, sell and negotiate premium product offerings within the Los Angeles and Orange County business communities



 Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty above at the highest levels. The requirements listed below are representative of the characteristics, knowledge, skill, and/or ability required of the ideal candidate we anticipate will excel in this role.

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in professional sports with proven track record of achieving consistent revenue success by selling premium products, season tickets, and hospitality assets.

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of school and experience. 

  • Approach problems with and exhibit integrity and high ethical standards.

  • Professionally mature, assertive, competitive, passionate, and goal orientated with a strong work ethic.

  • Resourceful, creative, and innovative, with an entrepreneurial spirit and a solution-based sales approach.

  • Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities, develop account strategies, and negotiate creative solutions.

  • Have a friendly, professional and confident telephone manner.

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills - must be able to manage schedule to achieve daily and weekly goals for calls, appointments and sales.

  • Self-starter with ability to work autonomously and multitask to maintain deadlines in a high-paced environment. 

  • Demonstrated communication and presentation skills, with an ability to think and react to situations confidently.

  • Must possess knowledge of all Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Ability to develop and articulate sound recommendations to prospective clients and internal management.

  • Ability to work both traditional and non-traditional hours (nights, weekends, holidays).

  • Experience working in Ticketmaster/Archtics and Salesforce preferred.
