Monumental Sports & Entertainment (MSE), located in Washington, D.C., is one of the largest integrated sports and entertainment companies in the country with one of the most diverse partnership groups in all of sports. Position Overview: This position is responsible for generating maximum revenue through the concentrated sale of full season, partial season plans, and group sales for the WNBA’s Washington Mystics and NBA G League’s Capital City Go-Go. 


Responsibilities: 

  • Meet or exceed established yearly revenue and ticket goals set for new business (full season ticket sales, partial plans, group packages, and other MSE franchise sales).

  • Meet or exceed daily call expectation along with setting out of the office appointments weekly.

  • Prospect and cultivate new sales leads through creative methods, as well as follow up on leads provided by the Mystics.

  • Conduct sales conversations via phone presentations, in-office meetings/presentations and meetings by conducting a detailed, custom needs analysis.

  • Based on feedback from phone calls/meetings, present any number of custom ticket and hospitality packages.

  • Entertain and cultivate strong business relationships with clients and prospects through creative means including networking events, speaking engagements, prospect sampling and seat visits at games, open houses at the Entertainment and Sports Arena, Capital One Arena.

  • Manage and retain a small account base of current season ticket members.

  • Participate in ongoing weekly and monthly sales and culture training sessions

  • Contact and close referrals from newly consummated season ticket holders.

  • Build a schedule for submitting sales funnels in order to track progress against goals in each business category of focus.

  • Take the lead on executing a successful, seamless transition of sold membership accounts to the assigned Membership Activation Specialist.

  • Enter all pertinent prospect and customer information in CRM platform for efficient reporting and historical data purposes.

  • Actively seek out learning and growth opportunities through training.

  • Other duties as assigned. 


Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree.

  • 1+ year of ticket sales experience with a pro or college sports team.

  • Must possess an aggressive, competitive and dedicated attitude.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Ability to multi-task and manage numerous business relationship in a professional manner.

  • Passionate about building a sales career in the sports industry.

  • Basic proficiency with computers and MS Office programs.

  • Experience with Archtics and TicketMaster is helpful.

  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
