TICKETS ARE THE LIFEBLOOD
We feel that to become a team president, you'll need to know this: It all starts with tickets. Tickets are the lifeblood of sports. Once you learn tickets—truly learn how to sell and market tickets—you’re on your way to running a team.


WHAT TEAM WILL YOU BE SELLING WITH?
The Oklahoma City Dodgers are the Triple-A Pacific Coast League Affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers. We play in beautiful Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark located in downtown Oklahoma City.
This position will be selling group tickets and all-session passes for the 2020 Phillips 66 Big 12 Baseball Championship, hosted right here at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark! Depending on performance, there will be an opportunity to continue past the Championship and contribute as part of the OKC Dodgers sales team.


WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Complete comprehensive training boot camp at beginning of job term

  • Contact past Phillips 66 Big 12 Baseball Championship group and all-session ticket buyers in order to renew their ticket packages for 2020.

  • Complete 125 outbound cold calls per day

  • Sell group tickets, all-session, and single-session passes to the 2020 Phillips 66 Big 12 Baseball Championship

  • Maximize leads generated from past Big 12 Championship event buyers

  • Generate new leads via networking and alumni events throughout the Oklahoma City community

  • Participation in monthly all-sales staff training and all OKC Dodgers sales events

  • Weekly department meetings and one-on-one sessions with supervisor

  • Report and track daily calls and sales

  • Utilize formatted phone presentations and ticket sales approach

  • Assist with data entry, participation in sales events, and all other functions as needed by the organization, directly related to ticket sales or otherwise

  • Uphold the highest level of customer service

  • Opportunity to attend exclusive, invite-only OKC Dodgers Sales Academy held in June

 
QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree – Business or Sports Management preferred

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)

  • Must be creative, enthusiastic and possess excellent interpersonal skills

  • Must be available to work all home games and special events

  • Willingness to work long hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays
