Job Summary


The Ticket Operations Intern will support the Ticket Operations Department in all aspects of running the RoughRiders Box Office. The internship is designed to prepare you for a career in sports business, specifically in ticket operations or sales. The Ticket Operations Intern reports to the Director of Ticket Operations and Ticket Operations Coordinator. 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the printing, processing, fulfilling, mailing, and tracking of all ticket orders and contracts including season, group, hospitality, and single game tickets.

  • Assist in monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting issues within the TicketReturn ticket system.

  • Provide excellent customer service to fans at the box office during games and on non-game days in person, over the phone, and via email.

  • Assist in training, supervising, and scheduling part-time box office staff for RoughRiders games, non-game days, and other events.

  • Prepare and reconcile cash drawers at the beginning and end of the day.

  • Basic data entry and preparation of various reports requested by management.

  • Other duties as assigned

 Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication, decision making, computer, and inter-personal skills required.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.

  • Knowledge of basic cash handling and credit card processing procedures.

  • Experience with TicketReturn or another ticketing system preferred but not necessary.

  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and extra events 

 



Compensation: Qualified candidate will receive compensation at TBD rate or stipend.
Dates: This position will be seasonal full-time from February to September. Exact start date is negotiable.
