Job Summary

Summary Description:
The Manager role is responsible for assisting with fulfillment, execution and overall management of a growing portfolio of ISC corporate partners, as well as a revenue goal tied to the retention, renewal and growth of these partnerships.  This position is a combination of both marketing and sales.  The ideal candidate will showcase strong presentation skills, the ability to build strong relationships and possess excellent attention to detail.   
Essential Duties And Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for successfully and positively representing ISC at all times and performing the job in compliance with the philosophy, policies, goals, and budget of ISC

  • Develop a keen understanding of each partner’s business, goals and objectives to maximize value for both the partner and ISC

  • Schedule and fulfill sponsorship assets such as hospitality, tickets, signage, radio, digital/social and retail promotions  

  • Assist with sponsorship communications, presentations and meetings, including preparing action plans, proposals, end-of-year recaps, and meeting agendas

  • Build strong relationships with partner decision makers, influencers and agencies 

  • Understand the brand and business objectives of each partner and how they drive revenue, what role motorsports plays in the partner’s business plan and how each partner is measuring the partnership

  • Be proactive to garner business to business activation, make B2B introductions and assist partners that are pursuing business from ISC

  • Stay abreast of the latest technology trends in order to use new mediums to enhance partner activation and use of assets

  • Have a clear understanding of each ISC business unit’s objectives, challenges, goals and current initiatives to build and maintain collaborative working relationships 

  • Responsible for event execution at Daytona International Speedway, including (but not limited to):

  1. Pre-event planning 

  2. On-site event logistics 

  3. VIP customer hosting 

  4. Collaboration with legal, PR and operations to insure event execution is effective and successful 

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

  • 4-year college degree

  • Minimum 3-5 years of professional sports sales, activation, and/or agency experience

  • Strong written and oral communication skills

  • Above average knowledge of Microsoft programs, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Ability to think creatively and drive innovation  

  • Strong work ethic and team-oriented attitude

  • Flexible and comfortable in a fast-paced working environment

  • Self-sufficient and proactive

  • Well organized with consistent attention to detail

  • Comfortable and experienced with public speaking and group presentations

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays and the capability to travel as required
