Job Summary
We are seeking a talented Entertainment Assistant with a strong work ethic and has sports video/production room experience, excellent editing and creative skills (including motion graphics), a strong baseball IQ, and a passion for creating fun, energetic in-game content. The job is with the Frisco RoughRiders Baseball Team. Located in a northern suburb of Dallas, we’re the Double-A affiliate of the Texas Rangers. The RoughRiders broke Double-A attendance records and revenue records for all of Minor League Baseball in their first season, 2003, and have since led Double-A and the Texas League in attendance every season. You’ll be working in the Entertainment Department of the Frisco RoughRiders.
This is a full-time seasonal position that runs from February through September. Candidate is required to work all home games, including weekends and holidays, as the schedule dictates.
The RoughRiders will be hiring two (2) Entertainment Assistants; one that is Video Production focused and one that is In-Game Entertainment focused.

Responsibilities for both Assistants:
- Coordinate with Marketing, Sales, and Partner Services departments on ideas, content, themes, graphics, events, etc.
- Create and implement new in-game entertainment features
- Maintenance of camera equipment
- General knowledge of live production and control room equipment
- Load graphics/video/music into computers in control room
- Shoot b-roll and/or photos for games and special events
- Assist with the set-up and breakdown of Party @ The Yard
- Work in the control room during games
- Rotating shifts for ballpark events
Video Production Focus:
- Assist in creating content for TV spots, theme night videos, and sponsor promo commercials
- Assist in publishing video content to the team website and delivering content for social
- Assist with and create player feature videos
- Follow standard operating procedure to assist in archiving games and footage
In-Game Entertainment Focus:
- Assist with and create ballpark feature videos/skits
- Assist with and create in-park graphics (motion and still) for the ballpark (both games and events)
- Assist in the creation and execution of theme night specific graphics and promotions
- Assist in the creation of GIFs for social media
- Assist in maintaining database of music and walk-up songs
- Prepare group welcome, birthday messages, and other requests in-game
Position Requires Experience with the Following:
- Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere, After Effects, and Photoshop with a working knowledge of Audition and Illustrator)
