Job Summary
The Ticket Operations Intern will assist the Ticket Operations Staff with their daily operations. Reporting to the Ticket Operations Coordinator, the Intern is responsible for providing superior customer service to fans at the box office, providing support for the Sales Department, and assisting with various initiatives. Other duties will be assigned as necessary on event and non-event days.

- Assist in managing ticket information in the SeatGeek ticketing system and keep records current and accurate.
- Aid in any ticket operations projects such as exchanges, mailing, invoices, etc.
- Assist in ticket deliveries for theme nights and Red Stars programs such as the Kids Club and Super Star Reading Program.
- Box office duties on game day including, but not limited to, distributing will call tickets.
- Aid in the maintenance of the CRM system (contacts, opportunities, marketing lists).
- Actively participate on Game Days in set-up and breakdown.
- Assist with various ticket sales reports through the SeatGeek system.
- Implement new ideas to improve the day to day work flow of the Ticket Operations department.
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Qualifications:
The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities.
- Must be a current full-time student at an accredited College/University.
- Must provide proof of enrollment in a College/University Internship course to receive class credit.
- Ability to work 15-20 hours a week including some nights, weekends, and holidays as the event calendar requires.
- Demonstrated experience with Outlook and Excel
- Strong multi-tasking & organizational skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
- Strong desire to learn and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work as part of a team but also able to work independently in a fast-paced setting.
This internship is available on a full time or part time basis and is non-paid, students should ideally be able to earn academic credit. Interns will report to the Coordinator of Ticket Operations and will be based at the Chicago Red Stars office in Lincoln Park, Chicago and at SeatGeek Stadium in Bridgeview.
