The Social Media Intern position for the Georgia Swarm is involved in the Swarm's Media Relations Department and assists the Media Department in a number of areas. Interns will gain hands-on experience producing content for the Swarm's social media accounts and working behind-the-scenes with social media analytics. Internships are unpaid and available only to persons who will be able to receive college or graduate level credit for their work. The Swarm accepts a limited number of internships to ensure that interns gain valuable work experience.



Position Responsibilities:



-Assist Media department with tracking and analysis of the team's social media accounts
-Produce behind-the-scenes content on Swarm gamedays
-Help organize the team's social media calendar



Requirements:

-Ability to commit to working through the 2018-19 National Lacrosse League season, including playoffs in May and June
-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
-Ability to work in and out of the office with varying hours depending on availability
-Experience with Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, Social Media Management Platforms, and Microsoft Office products required

Availability:

-This is a seasonal part-time position that will last the duration of the NLL season (approx. mid-to-late December through June).
-Ability to work 15-25 hours per week, including nights, weekends and holidays
