SportsCare’s primary focus is driving business to orthopedics and sports medicine.  However, SportsCare has developed programs and outreach strategies for a variety of service lines, including: emergency services, pediatrics, cardiology, women’s services, respiratory, wellness centers and hospital foundations.

Job Summary:

Act as an on-site outreach representative for SportsCare at the local affiliated hospital, health system or other health care organization.  Build relationships with community partners, events and organizations, such as: schools, club teams, sports organizations, facilities and businesses.  Deliver the message and services of the hospital to the community through outreach programs and events.  Act as a health care concierge or navigator in order to drive business to designated hospital service lines.  Job schedule is flexible; evening and weekend work is required.

Job Relationships:

  • Responsible to: SportsCare Senior Outreach Liaison (if applicable), Regional Manager and/or System Manager, SportsCare Chief Operations Officer or SportsCare System Manager and designated hospital liaison.
  • Responsible for: Designated SportsCare athletic healthcare marketing and outreach services.
  • Inter-relationships: Other SportsCare Outreach Liaisons, hospital staff, medical staff, and athletic community.

Qualifications: 
Mandatory

  • Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree from an accredited athletic training program.
  • Certification: Current certification through NATABOC and current state requirements.
  • Skills: Writing composition capabilities; negotiation skills, familiarity and marketing functions.
  • Knowledge: Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint); Basic Social Media Competency
  • Experience: Two to Five years of organized athletic participation, management or administration.

Responsibilities:

  • Become knowledgeable of SportsCare and applicable client hospital programs and services.
  • Act as a health care concierge or navigator in order to drive business to designated hospital service lines.
  • Identify new groups, organizations, businesses or contacts within hospitals service area that would benefit from the services provided through the SportsCare program.
  • Develop and manage relationships with key stakeholders within targeted organizations in order to increase client base within hospital service area.
  • Deliver outreach services in the community through events, lectures, sponsorships and community relationships.
  • Assist in developing and implementing SportsCare marketing strategies and plans.
  • Increase hospital brand awareness, promote the services of designated service lines, and increase referrals and service utilization.
  • Integrate marketing strategies to successfully create new events and programs.
  • Communicate needs and opportunities to hospital client and SportsCare Corporate.
  • Provide all data necessary for tracking ROI.
  • Provide injury evaluations and event medical coverage for community partners as assigned.
