Intern, Corporate Partnerships

The Corporate Parternships internship is a full-time paid (minimum wage) internship position beginning in January 2018 and ending in December 2018. The Corporate Partnerships intern is responsible for providing support and assistance to the Corporate Partnerships Department and the team’s marketing partners in all areas as needed.   

Essential Functions:

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Assist with the execution of all sponsored promotions (on and off-site)
• Host clients and guests for unique behind the scenes experiences (hospitality events, 1st pitches, batting practice, tours, etc.)
• Identify and research new potential team partners
• Assist in the development of sponsorship proposals
• Research key demographics and statistics
• Monitor industry, market and resource materials to provide analysis of industry trends
• Design and prepare post-season sponsor recaps including all proof of performance collateral
• Assist staff with all department administrative needs

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Extremely organized, detail oriented, and accountable
• Ability to work independently
• Must have exceptional interpersonal skills

·         Highly proficient in Microsoft Office

·         Experience with Photoshop

• Impeccable written and oral communications skills  
• Ability to work normal business hours, games, weekends, and occasional holidays during the baseball season
• Ability to multitask and produce high quality work
• Experience with event planning a plus

Suggested Education & Experience Guidelines:

·         Bachelor’s Degree with emphasis in Sport Administration, Marketing, or related fields.
