Job Summary

 

Sports Media and Marketing Agency that helps team and corporate brands harness the power of strategic sponsorship and maximize impact from client customized marketing campaigns is currently seeking a Sales Manager.

As a Sales Manager,
you will be responsible for hiring our sales team and maximizing their potential, developing sales plans and strategy selling and selling and managing key accounts.  Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

 

Ø  Achieving growth and hitting sales targets by successfully managing the sales team

Ø  Developing and implementing a strategic business plan that expands company’s customer base and ensure it’s strong presence

Ø  Recruiting, objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives

Ø  Building and promoting strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs

Ø  Presenting sales, revenue and budget forecasts to the management team


Requirements for this position include:

• Bachelor’s degree required plus no less than three (3) years of relevant sales and preferably sales management experiences (e.g. team, league or agency) supported by a proven track record of success.

Past success working across multiple stakeholders (internally & externally) to build a consensus and influence business outcomes
• Ability to develop and maintain long-term professional relationships
• Solid industry network and networking skills
• Proven experience preparing, planning and delivering persuasive presentations
• Exceptional communication skills, including ability to elicit information, actively listen, dialogue freely, verbalize ideas effectively, negotiate tense situations successfully and resolve conflict
• Proven success working in a dynamic, fast-changing environment with strong preference and benefits given to someone willing to work hard and prove themselves.
• Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
• Team orientation and strong verbal/written communication skills
• Ability to work varied business hours, including some weekend work
• High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)

Compensation: Salary commensurate with experience and bonus with agency success

Travel: Travel may be required .
