Service Innovation Representative

This position is responsible for supporting internal and external service innovation delivery throughout the organization and its contracted partners to ensure the department’s key objectives are achieved. The Service Innovation Representative will be responsible for training as an usher, ticket taker, elevator operator, box office and retail representatives and will service and interact with guests whose needs are varied and diverse. This position supports all SS&E franchises, events, and contracted projects.

1. Responsible for providing our F.A.M.I.L.Y. Service Standards to all internal and external customers.
2. Providing a safe and secure environment for all fans by responding to an emergency where an accident can be prevented.
3. Providing information and directional assistance to patrons at event as needed.
4. Learn the basic ticket selling system.
5. Verifying and validating tickets upon entry to the seating area.
6. Providing guidance and support to patrons to correct seats based on ticketed seating and ensure all patron needs are met.
7. Engaging with all interal and external partners to uncover performance gaps and innovation opportunities.
8. Assisting in event set-up or other areas of general support as required.
9. This is an event based position, Representatives will be responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction in the wake of selling tickets, answering phones and solving any potential ticketing problems. 

The eligible candidate should meet a multitude of qualifications, including but not limited to:

• Must have flexible schedule availability and the ability to work long hours, including overnights, evenings, weekends and some holidays as needed.
• Reliability is strongly measured, walking and standing for long periods of time, ability to walk up and down stairs throughout a regular shift.
• Read and write in English for the purpose of validating event ticket information.
• Work on multiple levels to ensure effective event procedure in all areas of the venue.
  
• Must be 18 years of age or older at time of hire.
• Basic math skills to count change/money and balance your tickets
• 0-2 years in a related service role.
• Must be able to successfully clear an extensive background screening.
• Must have reliable transportation for reporting to work.  
• Must be able to walk from employee designated parking lots of varying distances to the arena or be willing to take a shuttle.  
• Ability to memorize and provide accurate direction and knowledge to guests regarding venue/project logistics.
• Ability to maintain a consistently high energy level and enthusiasm for service training and delivery.
• Must have access to email/computer, or be willing to utilize the work stations we have created onsite at the AT&T Center. Scheduling will be done over the internet and primary communication will be through email.
• Must be able to work outdoor events or outdoor venues (Toyota Field).
• Must be able to work the minimum of two (2) Events per week (when applicable) and three (3) events per week during San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo.
• Must be able to stand and/or walk for at least 4-8 hours in hectic conditions for the duration of assigned shift.
• Able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds as needed.
• Bilingual preferred.
