VIDEO PRODUCTION INTERN

Job Summary

FLSA Status: Hourly Non-exempt (part-time) or Class Credit Internship
Start Date: March 1 (flexible based on availability)

POSITION SUMMARY: 
The Video Production Intern's main focus will be on the creation of promotional videos along with player & team highlight videos. This is a seasonal position that reports to the Director of Digital Marketing & Design.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Shoot and edit player interviews, promotional videos and sponsor videos for display on multiple platforms including stadium digital boards, social media and team website
• Compile and edit game footage into video highlight segments
• Archive, log, and maintain video footage for future use
• Generate and execute new concepts for in-game entertainment features and promotions
• Capture Proof of Performance materials for end-of-season reviews
• Other duties as assigned in a complete and timely fashion

SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS, REQUIREMENTS:
• Must have basic understanding of baseball
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite programs (primarily Adobe Premiere)
• Understanding of leading and emerging social media platforms
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• Ability to utilize own equipment a plus

COMPENSATION OPTIONS:
• Internship may be used to fulfill class credit requirements or completed as a paid internship for individuals not seeking class credit
• Upon completion of class credit, internship may be extended and transition to a paid internship
• Compensation paid in accordance with Kentucky State hourly minimum wage guidelines or commensurate with experience
