What we are looking for….

HockeyTech is looking for an Assistant Manager, Broadcast Operations. We are looking for hardworking and dedicated employees that excel in a fast pace working environment. We broadcast roughly 25,000 live games annually, where we monitor the streaming, video, and audio quality of each broadcast. As an Assistant Manager, you would be overseeing a staff of six to ten individuals and will be required to  monitor and provide customer support periodically.

Your position on the team….

  • Monitor streaming, video, and audio quality of each broadcast.
  • Work directly with operations staff to properly troubleshoot issues before, during, and after broadcast.
  • Follow up with teams to resolve streaming, video, and audio issues throughout the week.
  • Properly support customers that are having issues viewing broadcasts using our customer support application.
  • Prepare weekly schedule for part time employees.
  • Fill out documentation recapping the nightly broadcast schedule.
  • Assign roles and manage part time employees while on duty.
  • Other duties as assigned by manager.

The experience you bring to the team...

  • Must have experience in playing ice hockey ,or be familiar with the sport
  • 1-2 years of management/supervisor experience.
  • Video and audio production experience
  • Proficiency in verbal and written English language is essential.
  • Advanced computer skills 
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure
  • Results driven, detail oriented
