What we are looking for….

HockeyTech is looking to fill the Game Monitor position for our  HockeyTV Broadcast Operations Department. We are looking for hardworking and dedicated employees that excel in a fast pace working environment. We broadcast roughly 25,000 live games annually. 

Your position on the team….

The Live Game Monitor responsibilities include monitoring and reporting issues related to overall stream quality, video quality, and audio quality. 

Using a proprietary system built specifically to support the job responsibilities, a successful Monitor will be diligent in both the monitoring of the webcasts and the reporting of any suspected issues-- the role is highly detail oriented

Monitor streaming, video, and audio quality of each broadcast.

Work directly with individual teams operations staff to properly troubleshoot issues before and during their broadcast.

Report, and troubleshoot in-game issues in a timely and calm manner with the on-site staff.

Fill out documentation recapping any issues with the nightly broadcast schedule.

Focused, diligent, and detail oriented personality is required.

Other duties as assigned by manager

The experience you bring to the team...

Must have experience in playing ice hockey, or be familiar with the sport.

Video and audio production knowledge is a plus.

Proficiency in verbal and written English language is essential.

Advanced computer skills.

Able to excel in a fast pace work environment.

Quickly identify, address, and resolve issues.

Ability to work evenings and weekends
