Baseball Video & Digital Production Manager

Job Summary

The video & digital production manager will be responsible for creating high quality video content for use on various Durham Bulls platforms.  Helping drive the creative direction of the Durham Bulls.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Actively participate in the creative development process
• Produce compelling content on very tight and quick turnarounds
• Collaborate with associates on the marketing team to ensure all are working towards the same goal
• Create engaging content and graphics to promote, market and cover the Durham Bulls
• Shooting, editing, and creating original content to be displayed on website, in-stadium, game broadcasts and social media
• Maximize video coverage and assess opportunities for integration within all properties
• Create and edit videos for special events, projects and campaigns
• Assist with the production of player and promotional graphics for display on the stadium boards
• Assist in the creative planning for outside events that come to Durham Bulls Athletic Park
• Assist in creation of graphic animations and entertainment features for the video board and digital signage systems for all Durham Bulls home games and events
• Assist in the production and creation of graphic elements that effectively activate on our partnership initiatives, as well as all aspects of digital signage to greatly enhance the theme of the event
• Work to establish best practices on effective and technical video editing techniques, as well as identify and recommend new audio/video technologies by keeping abreast of developing technology
• Assist in maintaining all video production equipment and control room needs
• Logging and archiving footage
• Work various control room positions on game days as needed

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator, and non-linear editing systems
• Strong background in video production, including writing, shooting and editing
• Proven motion graphics and graphic design experience
• Knowledge of camera operation and lighting, and audio set-up
• Ability to organize work effectively, conceptualize and prioritize objectives and exercise independent judgment
• Willing to work nights, weekends and possibly holidays
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
• Strong organizational, communications and interpersonal skills
• Ability to creatively solve problems when presented with a task
• Technical knowledge/skills within an edit bay/control room environment
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently, demonstrating exceptional time management

Must be able to provide a video reel and or link to previous work.
