Job Summary
SUMMARY
Under Armour’s Treasury Department is looking to hire a Senior Manager with responsibility for a wide range of Treasury initiatives to support the company’s growth and operations. This position is based in Baltimore, Maryland and reports to the Sr. Director of Global Treasury. This position will oversee the work of 2 team members and will work closely with internal departments as well as with various financial institutions.
The Senior Treasury Manager will be responsible for driving Treasury initiatives aimed at increasing the scalability and automation of the Global cash management team and operations. Responsibilities include managing global liquidity and support for new business initiatives. The Senior Manager will work to improve bank related services utilized by various internal shared services and Treasury teams. The Senior Manager will be responsible for driving lower costs and decreasing risk through contract negotiations and evaluation of new services, increase interest income through optimization of global bank account structure, mitigate risks in liquidity management, and improve overall controls and visibility. Position requires close coordination with internal Under Armour teams, banks and other financial services partners.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Global cash & liquidity management
- Monitor daily cash position, ensuring efficient and timely execution of cash concentration and funding needs
- Ensure adequate controls and compliance with corporate bank account management and disbursement policies
- Maintain and update a daily cash forecast
- Recommend and oversee borrowings/repayments under company’s credit facilities
- Oversee bank account management, including opening, closing and maintenance of bank accounts as needed in support of global growth
- Review and manage bank fees, work with banking partners to negotiate and evaluate products, services and pricing
- Leverage treasury management system and available technology to identify and implement process improvements and efficiencies
- Oversee accounting for all HQ cash transactions
- Serve as main approver for all treasury related bank wires/payments/transfers
- Oversee intercompany loans, calculation of intercompany interest, and intercompany settlements
- Evaluate investment alternatives for excess cash
- Responsible for reviewing JE’s and month-end workpapers
- Owner of the short term cash forecast
- Review data and model maintained by the Treasury Analyst
- Make recommendations and implement changes to improve the process and model as necessary
- Partner directly with cross-functional teammates to gather necessary inputs
- Anticipate and plan for future commitments (tax payments, I/C activity and settlements, sports marketing payments, rent. etc.)
- Call-out and summarize significant deviations from forecast
- Partner with Treasury Analyst to conclude on weekly borrowing needs and communicate to the bank as necessary
- Daily, monthly and quarterly reporting related to cash balances, debt & liquidity, interest and other income/expense
- Assist and Support Mid and Long Term Cash forecasts
- Serve as a back-up to support FX hedging program and FX trades as necessary
- Supervise a team of 2-3 including setting goals and completing mid-year and annual performance reviews
QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of banking software and treasury workstations preferred.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- 6+ years of Treasury experience at a large multinational company
- BS/BA in Accounting or Finance; MBA or CTP preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills — including written and oral communication skills
- Experience with treasury workstation and SAP a plus
