Job Summary
Join Road Runner Sports as an eCommerce Project Manager and use your talents to build incredible eCommerce experiences - ensuring we do so on time and on budget. You will work day-to-day with our gifted Designers and Developers and lead the team to success by balancing scope, timeline and budget. You will work closely with the technical, creative, and business teams to oversee eCommerce projects from initial concept to delivery. This fast-paced, highly visible role reports directly into the Sr Manager / Director of eCommerce.
What you’ll get to do:
- Manage all aspects of eCommerce website projects including business requirements documentation, development, QA, and deployment of new builds
- Lead cross-functional team in day-to-day activities and quality execution
- Plan and organize all work across multiple projects
- Forecast timelines and project delivery dates
- Make data-driven decisions and solve challenges on a day-to-day basis; balancing need with project budget and scope
- Based on skill set, resources and operational proficiencies help determine how projects are prioritized and assigned
- Help deliver time estimates for Design and Development work and requests; set timelines for teams to follow based on priorities
- Manage and adjust team’s capacity to ensure project milestones are met
- Coordinate with 3rd party vendors for feature implementations
- Create and maintain website documentation and process documentation for web builds
- Manage entire UAT / QA phase for new builds

- 5 years of Project Management experience in eCommerce
- Well versed in UX best practices for eCommerce
- Demonstrated experience in eCommerce and web development
- Demonstrated proficiency with project scoping, planning, forecasting and budgeting
- Demonstrated experience in resource management or planning work for a cross-functional team
- Demonstrated experience working with global teams
- Proficiency with Project Management software
- Strong communication and presentation skills
Bonus points for...
- Experience working on ATG/Oracle Commerce platforms
- Trained in Agile Methodologies, Scrum (CSPO)
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Sciences, or related field
- Google Analytics expertise
