Conference Services Manager

The primary focus is to service events and secondary focus is to up sell them in all resort venues. These events should be exceptional and produce revenues that help the team reach departmental budgets and goals. Requires a friendly, composed, caring and professional relationship with clients and the community. It is essential to be disciplined, organized and accountable for all responsibilities. It is important to maintain a creative, open and innovative attitude.  

Qualifications  

• Excellent telephone skills required
• Must be extremely service-oriented, accurate, and work with attention to detail
• Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Delphi and SMS preferred, but will train
• 1+ years hotel or resort catering and/or conference services experience required 
• Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) desired
• College degree in a related discipline preferred 

Physical Requirements  

Ability to sit for long periods of time and move frequently from area to area. Repetitive hand use.
