Job Summary
Purpose:
We are looking for a Manager Copywriting to join our Creative Services team based in Boston. Are you ready to join an ever-changing and dynamic department that never knows a dull moment? As a creative writer, you know how to pick the right words to form the perfect sentence. Your words move, inspire, inform, trigger and convert people to buy Reebok. And not just in English… your text is translatable for all around the world.
Key Responsibilities:
Write copy that excites, informs, intrigues, converts, dazzles and always represents the brand in a suitable way
Work cross functionally to Interpret and ensure adherence to the brand voice as established by creative leads
Write clear translation briefs, explaining the objective and meaning of your copy so you can be certain your concept is rolled out consistently around the world
Oversee and participate in the creative process from concept and strategy to visualization and final execution
Craft website content copy for landing pages, advertising, direct mail, flyers and email campaigns for acquisition and retention marketing, ad copy, paid social and then some
Proactively identify existing copy writing gaps, additional opportunities, and ways to improve copy
Interpret business needs and translate to meaningful copy within brand guidelines
Key Relationships:
Designers, from concept to execution
Producers and project managers
Category brand managers to obtain information and assure one clear tone and message cross-channel
All the different departments that brief you on projects, like CRM, User Experience, Content Team, Customer Support, Marketing Activations, SEO, digital brand marketing, etc.
External translations agency
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
University degree with 3-5 years of professional experience as a Copywriter within a creative agency or environment
Experience creating and managing content strategy for eCommerce and aligning content with other consumer touch points
Strong portfolio that demonstrates your expertise and attention to detail
Understanding of SEO and persuasive writing
You’ve worked with brands before and can follow and maintain guidelines
Perfect English written skills, both in grammar and in style
Experience developing successful concepts and working in collaborative multi-functional teams
Ability to write deep meaningful editorial copy content a plus
