Responsibilities

Position Summary: 

 

IMG Academy is searching for someone who is ultra-organized, communicative and experienced in multiple aspects of marketing as our Marketing Traffic Manager. This person is someone who can build strong relationships that prioritize communication both within the marketing department and with key stakeholders in other departments.

 

Position Responsibilities

  • Represent the singular point of contact for all internal campus marketing requests, including creative, digital, event activation, outreach and video requests
  • Maintain a comprehensive and organized project status monitoring system that incorporates all major projects and the timelines for review and completion of each
  • Communicate consistently with other marketing leadership to understand current and upcoming projects and the associated needs for the projects
  • Interface with relevant vendors, contractors and agencies to ensure deliverables are clearly understood and deadlines are met
  • Creates and defines project management policies and procedures for the marketing department
  • Understands core business units and how marketing projects impact them, with an ability to prioritize accordingly
  • Assist in certain functional areas of marketing as needed, including social media, copywriting, proofreading and more
 

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills and Ability 

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in marketing, communications, journalism, business or other related major
  • Highly organized, with a proven history of at least 3-plus years of project management experience
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once
  • At least a basic understanding of critical marketing components, including digital marketing, social/content marketing, graphic design and more.
  • Experience in agency/vendor management
  • Excellent coordination and communication skills
  • Strong writing/grammar background

Preferred Skills

  • Master’s degree in marketing, sports marketing, communications, business or related field
  • Interest in sports
  • Bilingual

Physical Demands and Work Environment

  • The role will occasionally require extended and weekend hours during peak seasons
  • The role may require lifting, moving, pushing or pulling equipment or boxes in excess of 40lbs
  • Should be able to handle outdoor temperatures for a reasonable period of time
  • Must be able to move around campus, which includes gym, turf, fields, etc.
