Job Summary

POSITION SUMMARY
 
New Era’s Product Management team owns and develops product strategies and assortments for Seasonal, Incremental, On-Field, SMU, GCP and Stock programs, among others. Product Management is responsible for having the foremost understanding of New Era account types, as well as providing critical analytical input to ensure accurate product lines and consumer experiences. The role of Product Coordinator is to assist in the management, development and creation of compelling product solutions and work cross-departmentally to coordinate all Product Management efforts.
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES. 
* Manage Product Management processes and communications.
* Develop and own organizational tools that coordinate product launch initiatives.
* Participate in product reviews with marketplace insights, historical data and creative opinions in order to provide optimal product assortment.
* Create analytical reports and extract appropriate trends and insights for future launches in terms of style productivity, SKU efficiency, etc.
* Work collaboratively with Sales to coordinate product launch needs and gain marketplace knowledge. 
* Work collaboratively with Design, Production and Marketing to develop appropriate sales tools that facilitate sell-in impact.
* Input bulk program information to data collection systems.
* Engage global product teams to communicate strategies, assortments, updates, etc.
* Manage Custom product planning and execution for strategic key accounts.
 
 
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
* Knowledge of market and consumer
* Understanding of product creation process
* Capable of collaboration with cross functional teams
* Exhibits attention to detail and accuracy, as well as very strong organizational skills
* Identifies gaps and recommends additions to current product assortments
* Pro-actively manages change with urgency and persistence
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Experience with SAP preferred
 
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
* Bachelor’s degree in Product Management Planning or related field required
* Knowledge of sportswear or apparel industry.
