What You’ll Do:

STATS is currently looking for a Treasury/Payroll Accountant to work in our Chicago corporate headquarters. This person will be responsible for splitting their time between managing our daily cash accounts and banking outflows, and bi-weekly payroll for 400+ employees, interfacing with employees and management on payroll related issues.  Functions include

  • Maintaining payroll and cash related accounting records,
  • Daily cash balancing and forecasting, processing journal entries,
  • Various expense analysis, account reconciliations, and participating in month end close.  
  • Assist in audits and various other tasks as they are assigned.  E
  • support other accounting projects when necessary

 

Skills & Requirements

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Understanding of accounting theory
  • Experience with cash management
  • 2-4 years of experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer service focus
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now V7
  • Excellent project management skills
