iHeartMedia is seeking two experienced, passionate Social Media Managers who will be tasked with supporting all 850 radio stations social media activities. This is an exciting opportunity to make a tangible impact on marquis brands, personalities and events! Individuals interested in these positions should be experts on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram, with knowledge of all other platforms, their algorithms, and audience-first tactics.
Both Managers will report to the Vice President of Audience Development.
- Implement iHeartMedia's local station social media strategy, using content creating from both national and local editorial teams, to drive engagement and audience growth across all social accounts for all local stations.
- Work with editorial teams to guide messaging and posting best practices
- Report on ROI, and translate data into actionable tactics stations can take to increase traffic.
- Publish and share engaging content daily
- Perform research on current social media trends and audience preferences.
- Implement new social media features, as suitable to improve performance and grow audiences and engagement.
- Stay up-to-date with current technologies in social media, design tools and application.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.
- 3 years of social media management experience.
- Strong follow-up and follow-through skills.
- Social media writing skills with a demonstrated ability to optimize messages for audiences and channels.
- Strategic thinker, independent problem-solving skills, and ability to drive consensus.
- Ability to make creative contributions that influence campaigns and apply analytical skills to measure success and inform future initiatives.
- Expertise with publishing within all major Social Media platforms.
- Strong interpersonal skills
