Job Summary

External Job Description: Job Summary: Reporting to the General Manager, the Vice President of Partnerships and Premium Services is responsible for generating & developing new lines of business for the company. This is a cross-disciplinary, multi-departmental role intended to help the company adapt to new risks and opportunities. 

Essential Duties:
MAJOR DUTIES OR AREAS OF FOCUS
Example: Develops and maintains financial models to forecast and report on multiple companies. 
1. Identify and solicit new local and regional corporate partners that are not current clients of the organization.

2. Provide strategic direction, and take a lead position, on maintaining existing partnerships while developing new partnerships to maximize revenue.

3. Develop customized sponsorship programs using inventory controlled by the organization to generate net revenue and meet the needs of the clients.

4. Assist Client Service Coordinators and Premium Sales team in the execution of multiple partnership agreements – including Suite Leases and Founders Club memberships.

5. Serve as special projects sales person for the Corporate Sales department. This includes selling sponsorships to one-time events and Community Relations programs.

6. Identify new ways of generating incremental revenue/minimizing expenses for the organization.
• Database management
• Networking events
• Revenue seeking presentations

Required Qualifications (Job Knowledge, Skills, and Education):
The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities.
1. A minimum education level of: High School Diploma or its equivalency (Bachelor of Arts/Sciences Degree Preferred). Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Degree preferred. 
2. Years of related work experience:
a. A minimum of three (3) years of experience selling the assets of a professional sports team including: Radio Commercials, Stadium Signage, Internet Advertising, Retail Promotions, Hospitality, Community Relations/Special Events. Logo / Marks Usage experience. 
3. Expertise in identifying opportunities and developing strategies.
4. Exemplary problem solving, communication and presentation skills.
5. Excellent, sales skills with proven cold calling experience. 
6. Proven results in closing sales. 
7. Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize goals. 
8. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. 
9. Ability to synergize the efforts of individuals and prospects to accomplish the goals of the company. 
10. Ability to work long and irregular hours.
11. Constant operation of computer and other office productivity machinery.
12. Ability to remain in a stationary position at least 50 percent of the time. 

Additional Comments: 10-25% travel required.
