Job Summary

The Director of Social Media Marketing is responsible for the strategy, development and execution of content-based multiplatform marketing campaigns focused on the WWE Network subscription service. Seated at a cross-section of digital-social content and marketing teams, this integral role will drive new paths for awareness and conversion for WWE’s OTT business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the creative, content-focused marketing strategy on WWE’s ad-supported platforms to maximize organic traffic and conversion to WWE Network
  • Devise and manage a calendar of new, recurring content campaigns of varying sizes and frequency, including specific initiative-based campaigns around tentpole events
  • Leverage and collaborate with multi-departmental resources to guide and oversee execution of content productions
  • Find opportunities to optimize parallel productions within team and drive incremental conversion
  • Track and exploit new features and products across platforms to create compelling, innovative content-oriented campaigns
  • Analyze user and consumption data to maximize opportunities to convert
  • Evaluate, generate, and lead region-specific campaigns in priority markets
  • Partner with Data Analytics division to provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports to demonstrate success

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in content marketing or social media marketing
  • Influential thinker and impeccable communicator of ideas
  • Proven track record of delivering success via organic content on social and digital platforms
  • Passion for emerging media trends and technology, especially social platform products
  • Deep understanding of digital and social media metrics
  • Expert presentation skills
  • Extraordinary project management capabilities
  • Start-up mentality with the poise of a seasoned media executive
  • Familiarity with OTT media distribution a plus
  • Working knowledge of topline video production tenets, a plus
  • Knowledge of WWE TV shows, talent and storylines a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree
