Under Armour has established an authentic and powerful positioning and this is an exciting time to be a part of the brand. The Manager, FP&A – Brand Marketing will be an integral business partner to multiple functional teams including Global Brand, Consumer Engagement, Creative, and Marketing Ops. This person will drive decision support for these teams and maximize return on investment through financial analysis. The position will report to the Senior Manager of Brand Marketing FP&A.  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide financial, analytical and decision support to key stakeholders through KPI tracking, post audits, insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional partners across the business including Sport Category, Regions and Corporate Finance.
  • Leverage financial systems to create and distribute timely reporting of performance against forecast, with an assessment of risks and opportunities.
  • Provide thought leadership on how to maximize opportunities and mitigate risks.
  • Lead monthly close process for Brand Marketing including journal entries and account reconciliations.
  • Support planning/forecasting process – on a monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Manage the annual operating plan process for supported functional teams.
  • Drive process improvements and productivity initiatives to optimize resources.
  • Lead special projects and investment analysis, as needed (multiple opportunities available).

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

  • BA/BS required, MBA preferred
  • 4-7 years of experience in financial analysis/accounting
  • Strong team player with demonstrated ability to lead and influence others
  • Strategic thinker with excellent analytical, critical-thinking, problem-solving and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels and articulate ideas, financial results and actionable recommendations
  • SAP/IBPf experience preferred
  • Expertise in PowerPoint, Excel, financial modeling, sensitivity analysis and ROI
  • Consumer Products, Retail Industry, International or hi-growth environment experience preferred
