Job Summary
WHY YOU'LL LOVE THIS JOB //
Provide day-to-day leadership and support in the development and execution of marketing programs for Associated Bank, including the management of client relationships, activation of contractual assets, and general partnership guidance relating to the regional sports sponsorships of the client.
The Account Supervisor will have the opportunity to execute marketing programs at every touch point of the client’s sponsorship activations including consulting, program management, and event activation.
WHAT YOU'LL DO //
- Manage elements of assigned client partnerships, including program planning and operations
- On-going oversight and evaluation of marketing programs to maximize event success
- Challenge traditional activation programming with fresh, innovative and best practice solutions
- Work closely with client contacts to establish strategy for program scopes and program budgets
- Maintain daily communication with client contact(s), vendors and internal GMR teammates
- Understand client objectives, how to achieve them and what data/measurement is important to demonstrate achievement of those objectives
- Liaison with GMR support services as needed for various projects and events
- Travel to on-site events and assist in program execution
- Monitor/report industry trends along with competitive activity specific to the category and sports landscape
- Lead account team members with mentorship and advisement
- Lead and support team in internal and external meetings
- Manage program budgets to achieve client needs and remain on targeted budget
- Development, execution and management of additional client projects as needed
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR//
- Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of promotional or marketing experience
- Understanding of the sports business landscape
- Ability to develop strong relationships and manage multiple partners and programs
- Experience managing teams, which can include field staff, field managers, vendors, agency peers and/or internal teams
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow through
- Capable of multi-tasking and working on several projects at one time
- Demonstrate strong organization and time management skills
- Ability to work with a group of highly motivated individuals, as well as be individually proactive
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong presentation skills to varied audiences
- Demonstrated problem solving skills, ability to independently perform day-to-day program management and ability to implement solutions quickly
- Experience required in demonstrating executional excellence, including live event programming
- Willingness to work on days and times outside the normal work week when needed
- Ability to travel as needed to assist in program execution, including some nights and weekends
