Job Summary

Major Purpose:

Major League Baseball is seeking to fill a Coordinator, Digital Trafficking Operations position in the Marketing department.  This position will primarily be responsible for advertising operations activities including ad trafficking and site tag management that support Minor League Baseball (MiLB) campaign efforts managed by the Marketing department.  Responsibilities include trafficking display, video, mobile web and in-app advertising campaigns in DoubleClick Campaign Manager (DCM).

Major Responsibilities:

  • Use DoubleClick Campaign Manager (DCM) to traffic and test creative, schedule and organize ad campaigns, and provide reporting for digital advertising campaigns
  • Daily interaction with members of the Marketing team, Ticketing team, MiLB Club marketing staff and third-party publishers and partners to ensure consistent and smooth ad-ops procedures
  • Coordination with numerous internal and external personnel and clients to ensure flawless advertising campaign executions
  • Troubleshooting tag-related issues, reporting/delivery discrepancies, and implementation concerns
  • Identify opportunities to implement solutions that increase the effectiveness and efficiencies of the Trafficking Operations functions within the Marketing department, including the development of tools, process, execution, etc. to aid in campaign execution and performance
  • Ability to adapt to other projects as assigned by manager
  • Capability to work in team environment to assist in advancement of digital advertising strategies.
  • Perform related duties as required

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 1 year trafficking experience in DCM (formerly known as DFA) or other ad serving technologies
  • Working knowledge of HTML, XML and JavaScript
  • Proficient with VAST and VPAID video tags
  • Experience with debugging and HTML proxy tools including Charles, Chrome Developer Tools and Firebug
  • Experience with DoubleClick Search and DoubleClick Bid Manager a plus.
  • Experience with Google Tag Manager a plus
  • Familiar with online advertising, marketing, and sales concepts and metrics
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel and PowerPoint
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced and deadline driven environment
  • Flexible, personable attitude; team player with the ability to develop cordial, professional relationships with all levels of MLB and MiLB staff and partners
  • Flexible schedule: available weekends and late nights throughout the year, as needed
  • Baseball and sports enthusiast preferred
