Job Summary

This position will provide support to all persons in the Community Relations department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


• Assist with the event planning and management of all player appearances, visits and special events
• Plan and execute events/special group visits during Atlanta Falcons Training Camp
• Coordinate and assist with all military outreach, cancer outreach, Women’s Association programming and PLAY 60 programming
• Assist with the execution of Community Relations game day operations; specifically, military activation, Honorary Captains, Make-A-Wish and additional community activation throughout the season
• Coordinate distribution and maintain database of necessary tickets and credentials associated with game day
• Assist with managing FalconsCR Twitter and Instagram accounts; keeping accounts constantly updated with new material and updating the monthly calendar
• Assist with processing, fulfilling and shipping donations using DonationXchange
• Manage Community Relations inventory, including equipment and promotional items
• Respond to Community Relations inquiries

 

Education and Experience Requirements:
a. High school diploma required, minimum of two years of college or professional schooling
b. Experience in event operations

 

Skill and Knowledge Requirements:
a. Strong verbal and written communication skills
b. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel
c. Excellent time-management and organizational skills
d. Experience with MS Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint

 

Time Commitment:

a. Hire date: August, 1, 2018

b. 40 hours per week

c. this is a seasonal position
