Job Summary

This position will provide support to all persons in the Community Relations department, with a special emphasis on youth and high school football programming.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Assist with the event planning and management of all youth football events, including Youth Football Camps, State Forums and the Moms Academy
• Coordinate and execute events related to flag football, including NFL FLAG In-Schools and the NFL FLAG Regional Tournament
• Assist with coordinating all high school football related invents, including the High School Reception, Salute to Service High School Game and other events
• Plan and execute youth and high school football group visits during Atlanta Falcons Training Camp
• Assist with the execution of youth football game day operations and programs, including High School Flag Crew Program and Coach of the Week
• Manage all youth and high school football contact databases
• Assist with managing FalconsCR Twitter and Instagram accounts; keeping accounts constantly updated with new material and updating the monthly calendar
• Manage community relations youth football equipment and promotional items
• Respond to Community Relations inquiries

 

Education and Experience Requirements:
a. High school diploma required, minimum of two years of college or professional schooling
b. Experience in event operations

 

Skill and Knowledge Requirements
a. Strong verbal and written communication skills
b. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel
c. Excellent time-management and organizational skills
d. Experience with MS Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint

 

Time Commitment:

a. Hire Date: July 16, 2018

b. 40 hours per week

c. this is a seasonal position
